Rose Lake Design: e-Design and Mood Boards

Updated: May 21, 2021

More than ever people are relying on their community. There has been quite a bit of change, and as Rose x Lake Design grows I want to be agile and flexible to the needs of people who are seeking design.

Interior Design was always a passion of mine, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I started creating a business that offered design services. For me, I have always been sensitive to my environment, and I realized a long time ago that if my surroundings were in order, and visually made me happy, I felt more confident in starting the day, more in control, and more relaxed when I got home to unwind.

For this reason I want to help people create an environment that helps them take on the day in the best way possible, and have a beautiful place to relax. Now more than ever people have been forced to stay in their homes, and operate on many levels. I have spoken to many people that have expressed the desire to update their homes once we get through the quarantine associated with the 'Rona', as people have named it.

Home is a place where you share your heart, you cook your meals, and you live all those "moments in between". It should be a place of comfort and beauty, and I believe design should be accessible. Even more important, I believe good design does not have to be expensive.

We are all in this together. So, for the next 2 weeks until June 5th, 2020, I will be taking on e-Design and mood board projects FOR FREE! If you are looking for design advice, a consultation, or a mood board, I would like to provide you the service free of charge.

The ONLY thing I ask in return is that you make a donation to a group in need or a charity of your choice for $15. I recently donated to the San Diego Food Bank. For every $1 donated, 5 meals can be provided. That means $15 can provide 75 meals. I know we all have been impacted by this, and it is now, more than ever, that we have the opportunity to join together as a community.

No project is too big or too little in regards to inquiries over the next 2 weeks. You could reach out about shelf styling, or sourcing pillows or home decor items. You could send me pictures of items you already have that you are just looking to style, or you could be looking for help with material selection for a renovation. Anything goes!

I have included some examples of mood boards and some e-Design I have put together in the past for reference. If you are interested in a FREE CONSULTATION or free e-Design be sure to reach out ASAP as I'll be working in the order that requests are received.

The best way to reach me is through email at lhealy@rosellakedesign.com or you can direct message me through my instagram account @rosexlakedesign.

Again, thanks so much for following along on my design journey, and I hope you all stay safe and healthy.

xo,

Lylah
